Faces in the Hallway
August 13, 2007Sa lugar na ito, hindi karaniwan sa mga tao ang ngumingiti sa iba, lalo na't hindi nila kalahi. Matataas sila, palibhasa'y mayayaman. Hindi naman lahat ay may pinag-aralan, pero dahil marahil sa estado ng bansa nila, na di hamak na mas mayaman ang ekonomiya sa bansa nating Pilipinas, ang tingin nila sa sarili nila'y mataas, at tingin nila sa mga dayuhang galing sa mahihirap na bansa ay basahan, utusan, at alipin.
Hiling
August 12, 2007Sana lumipas ang oras na gaya ng hangin, nang sa gayon hindi ko na siya mamamalayan.
Nagtataka lang ako, may mga panahong tila gusto nating i-fast forward ang oras para lumipas na ang pakiramdam na nagpapahirap sa atin at lumain ang mga alaalang pilit bumabalik sa ating isip, kaya lang kapag tinitingnan natin ang sarili natin ngayon at ikukumpara sa kahapon parang gusto nating ibalik iyong dating tayo, simple at payak. Ano ba talaga? Fast forward o rewind?
Maraming nakakatawang bagay na dulot ang imahinasyon natin, minsan kinokontra natin ang sarili natin sa sobrang likot ng ating isip. Nakakabaliw… No wonder iniutos ng Dios na huwag mag-isip ng totoong matayog kaysa nararapat isipin, dahil ang isip ng tao ay totoong unlimited, pwedeng lumipad sa outer space, pwede ring mag-teleport at tunay na unpredictable ang magagawa.
Humihiling ito ng mga bagay na hindi maibibigay ng realidad, masyadong demanding, madalas ay abusado. Kung hindi mo pa ito susupilin, gagawa at gagawa siya ng sarili niyang mundo.
Sa ngayon gusto ng isip kong pabilisin ang oras, o kaya ay mag-shutdown muna ng kusa at mag-restart pagkatapos ng dalawang araw. Habang naka-shutdown gusto niyang mangarap ng masasayang karanasang hindi ko pa nararanasan. At sa takdang oras ng pag-restart niya, masisilayan niya ang mga bagay na gusto niyang makita, ang oras na iyo'y magiging parang isang panibagong panimula.
Wala namang fee iyon; libre namang mangarap…

A thirsty sunflower is hoping for the rain
The downpour of love from heaven
She's waiting…
Until suddenly the promised rain
Did not come to their rezdezvous
Oh how the sunflower withered mournfully
She let's out her hope
She stopped waiting…
Until flame fell down on her miserable state
She'd then turned into ashes
Her misery ended
The beautiful sunflower had become a legend…

Getting Started, Once Again
August 9, 2007You bet! I went into using i.ph after multiply.com has been blocked here in our place. Sadly, I cannot retrieve my other posts in that site (though I'm planning to repost some of my writings which I have posted in other sites that are still accessible to me), but I'm grateful that I can still continue blogging through other means.
For your information, I've checked other websites who offer free blogging as well, such as blogger and wordpress. I've been into blogger so I'm a bit familiar with it. Wordpress is intriguing for me since there is where an influential person to me writes his blog, so I grab a little time to have a sneak on its features.
I find blogger a bit hard to customize. As much as possible I want my template to be how I want it to be and it always says there's something wrong with the code I pasted whenever I try to edit its HTML.
Going back to wordpress, I can say this one is for very serious people and rich ones simply because it doesn't allow you to customize your page for free. You have to own a credit card and I don't have one. I'm a poor girl you know.
Lastly, since I know a blogger who uses an i.ph, I tried it out. So, ting! I'm here now simply because I chose i.ph above all!
You may ask why. Well, i.ph is easier to customize. If you are still asking why, then just try it out. I'm not offering a free tutorial here. I'm not worthy to be one.
